Two-Step Submission Process

Due to technical reasons, SLADS employs a two-step submission process to ensure efficient handling of manuscripts and maintain the highest quality standards. Please follow the steps below to submit your manuscript.

Note: The initial screening process typically takes up to 7 days. You will receive a notification regarding the outcome of the prescreening (reject or invitation to resubmit to OpenReview).

Download and Prepare Your Manuscript

Before submitting, please download and use our Latex manuscript template. This ensures your submission meets our formatting requirements and streamlines the review process.

Initial Submission

Click the "Submit Your Manuscript" button below to begin the submission process. You will be asked to provide basic information about your manuscript and upload a PDF version.

Editorial Prescreening

Our executive editors will review your submission within 7 days. The purpose of this prescreening is to:

  • Verify that your manuscript falls within the journal's scope
  • Assess the overall quality and originality of the work
  • Determine if the manuscript meets basic formatting and ethical guidelines

Notification of Results

You will receive one of two possible outcomes:

  • Reject: If your manuscript does not meet the journal's standards or falls outside our scope, it will be rejected at this stage.
  • Resubmit to OpenReview: If your manuscript passes the initial screening, you will receive instructions to complete the full submission through our OpenReview platform.

Full Submission via OpenReview

If invited to resubmit, you will complete the full submission process through OpenReview. Your manuscript will then enter the formal peer review process.

Manuscript Template

All submissions must use the Latex manuscript template. This template includes pre-formatted styles for headings, references, figures, and tables.
